The Singapore-Johor Rapid Transit System, or RTS Link, is a mass rapid transit line conceived as a cross-border high-volume rapid transit system connecting Singapore and Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The RTS Link will cross the Straits of Johor via a 25m-high bridge, linking the Bukit Chagar Station in Johor Bahru to the underground Terminus Station (RTS Link Woodlands North Station at the end of the Thomson East Coast Line) in Singapore.

To facilitate passenger flow, it will have a co-located Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities in both Bukit Chagar and Woodlands North. Passengers travelling in either direction will clear both Malaysia and Singapore authorities at the point of departure and need not go through immigration clearance again at the point of arrival.

The design was co-led by CPG and SAA, responding to and complementing the new JTC Woodlands North Coast master plan, achieving green replacement with lush landscaping on site. The station is future-proofed as a key Transit Oriented Development with high rise grade A offices above and connects to the international/ domestic interchange station that is integrated with the new bus interchange at grade.
