CLIQ is a design proposal for a mixed-use and residential development in Qian Hai, Shenzhen. The proposal is a play on two words — 'click' and 'clique', building on the central theme of bringing like-minded people together and fostering communities. 

CLIQ's design addresses the social and economic needs of this modern metropolis, complementing the Chinese government’s larger vision to rapidly grow and retain its foreign talent pool. 

The design provides an environment that harmoniously integrates and facilitates the work, live, play, and wellness needs of the demographic, while mitigating challenges associated with high-density settings.

Circulation networks seamlessly link to existing transport systems for optimal accessibility in, out, and about the site. A vibrant commercial podium connected by a green spine extends across horizontal planes and upwards into the residential stacks, bringing an appreciation for nature to the skies.

Along with strategically-positioned recreational amenities, these elements make the development a highly liveable and lush environment for residents, as well as an exciting lifestyle destination for visitors that come from neighbouring cities.
