City Gate Shoppes and Residences is sited in an area undergoing urban renewal, at the intersection of Jalan Sultan and Beach Road. The development consists of two interconnected residential towers sharing a single core on top of a 5-storey commercial podium. Two lushly landscaped communal floors and 16 sky terraces punctuate the 25-storey tower’s massing, with the sky terraces alternating between the towers to offer residents views of the city skyline.

Both the podium and tower draw upon “motion in nature” in the graceful flowing lines of the floor edge and thin concrete canopies, continued along the façade in a meticulously crafted perforated metal skin, sculpting a prominent landmark that is a part of the gateway to the Central Business District.
