William Chee

William oversees the coordination for large-scale transportation projects in SAA and his extensive experience in transportation architecture has successfully led him to spearhead multiple rail projects in Singapore.

William started his architectural career with SAA in 1990. From 2006 to 2017, he worked at and managed Aedas’ mass rapid transit (MRT) projects and was the Qualified Person for 25 MRT stations and a rail depot. In 2018 he rejoined SAA as a Principal, where he continues exercising his expertise in MRT developments.

William’s design, technical and statutory experience has resulted in the successful integration of numerous rail projects into their urban environments, with his work being recognized with the Land Transport Excellence Award for Best Design Rail and an honourable Mention from SIA Design Awards for his work on Circle Line Marina Bay Station.
