Ng Cheng Ngai

Cheng Ngai is an exemplar of SAA’s talent development programme, starting an intern in 2008 to his present position as Associate, overseeing several large high-profile projects in a management leadership role.

Cheng Ngai’s design and project management experience span across commercial & mixed use, transportation, aviation, industrial, and residential projects. Having recently returned from his secondment to KPF’s headquarters in New York, where he gained valuable first-hand exposure to global best-practices and learning, Cheng Ngai’s also serves on SAA’s Training & Standards Panel, which maintains a universal framework of sustainable best practices for the firm’s architects.

He concurrently leads the teams for the Rapid Transit System Link, an international transit system project and the Dover/Ulu Pandan Masterplan; while playing a key leadership role in the Changi Airport Terminal 5 project and Nanjing Masterplan.
