Edward D'Silva
An architect by profession, Edward paved the way for SAA’s foray into the South-East Asian region through managing the firm’s early offices in Malaysia, Brunei and India. He further established SAA’s presence in the region through spearheading the design and construction of various leisure-resort and institutional developments in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei. Presently, he is a Senior Advisor of SAA and continues to provide executive counsel to the firm.
Edward is also the Chairman of the Public Hygiene Council; and Chairman of the Seniors Committee/Councillor for Central Community Development Council (CDC). He is also a member of the Public Service Commission; Liquor Appeals Board; Strata Titles Board; NUS Alumni Advisory Board; Singapore Anglican Community Services; Assisi Hospice; Films Consultative Panel (Media Development Authority) and Singapore Medical Council Complaints Panel.
Edward sits on the Board of Directors of the Singapore Dance Theatre and National Institute of Education International and is also a volunteer for the Prisons Fellowship Service. He is also a Justice of the Peace as well as Visiting Justices and Trustee of the Eurasian Association.
