Charles Arnal
Charles graduated from Paris Val-de-Seine School of Architecture in 2008 and went on to design several projects across Europe and Africa before relocating to China in 2010, gaining experience working in different architectural styles while learning Mandarin. He joined SAA in 2013 as a Senior Architectural Executive, bringing a cultural sensitivity that strategically challenges industry norms and skillful translation of design concepts into functional architecture. He worked his way up to Senior Associate Director in a short span of time, setting a high bar for the Design Team.
An avid sportsman, Charles carries the same determination to his work, responding to complex solutions with designs that are elegantly practical and sustainable. Some of roles include design lead for the St. Joseph’s Home, which won the WAN Silver Award, and City Gate condominium, which was awarded a CTBUH Award of Excellence in the Best Tall Mixed-Use Building category.
