SAA wins two accolades at 2023 HDB Design Awards
17 October 2023
One project employs inhabiting strategies to connect almost 3,000 homes with nature, while another pays tribute to the site’s hilly terrain, creating heritage-inspired spaces for communal gathering.
For the design thinking behind these two public housing developments, Ulu Pandan Estate and Alexandra Vale, SAA clinched two awards for innovative design at the 2023 Housing & Development Board Awards.
The awards recognise excellence in design, engineering, and construction that elevates public housing with refreshing and innovative concepts. The Innovative Design Award category showcases to-be-built projects with ground-breaking ideas that positively influence perceptions of public housing in Singapore.
Minister of National Development, Mr Desmond Lee, presented the awards to Deputy CEO Michael Leong and Senior Associate Isaac Tan individually at the awards ceremony on Monday, 16 October 2023.
SAA’s wins are part of a bumper crop of seven accolades won by the Surbana Jurong Group.
