Changi Airport Terminal 4 Reopens
16 September 2022
After a two-year interlude due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 resumed operations this week on 13 September. A growing demand for air travel and support for more flights called for Terminal 4’s reopening, as Singapore welcomes more travellers in its role as global air hub.
Terminal 4 was completed in 2017 and sets a new benchmark in airport design. Conceived as a fun and vibrant air hub, Terminal 4 provides an automated, seamless and delightful travel experience.
The terminal was successfully delivered by SAA who led a team of specialist consultants, user groups and contractors in collaboration with Benoy as the concept designer. Terminal 4’s architecture is a winner of the President’s Design Award, awarded with Design of The Year in 2018.
